My dear, softhearted poetess,
some things cannot be denied;
for, I must truthfully confess
you’ve touched me deep inside.

Carefully, while considering You,
your dad was one helluva guy.
Saying this, I swear that it’s true,
’cause no one’s LIKE you, is why.

What else could I say about him,
when you reflect much that he was.
Times he made you sink or swim,
shines out in all your poetry does.
