State of Mind:
Dear Danny,
I sit alone behind these grey concrete walls, wondering if the Police really know it all?
Craving just a little male affection when all I seem to get is your rejection?
Write me letters, pick up the phone, need your sweetness, so sick of living here on my own.
I loved you, baby, you loved me, said I loved ya, it…Read More -

Unraveling
I watched the thread,
slip from my fingers,
cold as steel.I couldn’t hold the end,
or trace the start.Like a shadow in alleys,
following the hunt,
its shadow in my chest,

setting my nerve endings ablaze
flickers spreading quickly

Sorry??
What does the word even mean
An apology that is supposed to be given when felt
The word does not erase the feelings
That absolute absurdity of itAs a child you were made to say your sorry
Looking in that same child’s eyes
There is not an ounce of remorse
Confusion
AngerAdolescents are no better
Sorry rolls off the…Read More-
A ‘sorry’ like this is nothing more than the ego trip to make whoever said it feel good about themselves and nothing to do with changing what they have done. To be truly sorry, takes action, means changing attitude, behavior, and not doing whatever they have done again. A good poem for day #5 of poetry month, Fia. -Curt
