Rainbow Dreams
Today, April 26th, has arrived
with a promise of color,
of something that plays in
our mind like a whisper,
like a dream.Some dreams
are like candy apples,
sweetly coated
and soft inside;
or, like rainbows,
that rise
and fade into the sky.
And then,
there are the dreams
made of you.Those dreams,
where your leg
nestles over my thigh;
where your hair,
Autumn red
made goosebumps
on my chest.Those dreams,
where we undressed
each other
with our lips,
while greedy tongues
explored
all the sweet spots
and secret places
that made us laugh in bliss.Those dreams where
arms and legs moved
to erotic grooves
of Barry White’s
rhythmic blues.But dreams,
like those fading rainbows,
never stay.
