    • Was it internal rain or was it seasonal rain? That is a lot of water all the time. It can be depressing. One day of sunshine and not even a full day at that. Good poem

    • It was English Rain. The winter has become soggy here instead of cold. Thanks for reading.

    • Hoi hoi @Poetspeak,
      Hope this finds you well?!

How recognisable! My parents didn’t mind. They feared nicotine more than the occasional joint.
      Maybe Amsterdam being the difference?

Love your writes. Keep them coming please.
      Kind regards, Gus

    • Hi Gus

      Thanks for the street cred

Hope all is well with you !

      Keep on Rocking

      PS

    • good morning dearest Poet looking good and I’m sure singing great ❤️

    • What a way to open. Love this piece;))

    • Oh fuckballs, missed you Sherrif.

Love the vibe, the near-hippy feel and the captured moment of youth. This is a gorgeous momento.

      • Wow Betty

Before your time but you know

        I love that

        Famous Morrison line

“I woke up this morning and got me a beer”

    • Beautifully penned, Speak. Excellent write my friend. Morrison was one of a kind indeed. Odd fact, Robby Krieger the Guitarist actually wrote the lyrics to “Touch Me” among other Doors songs. He was like their secret weapon in a sense, Morrison did write the bulk of their lyrics though. This is why I love poems referencing music. Nicely done. Appreciate you.

      • Not surprised with Kriger penning the songs. The dude carries it and he’s still out there gigging ..

        Thx Damien

        • Alive and gigging, maybe?
I personality think that, as the number of stages seriously were lowered in Corona times, the grey tigers have the moral obligation to make room for the wild young musicians.

Grey tigers includes me as a matter of fact.
          Kind regards, Gus

    • This is the PS we all know and respect. An artwork wouldn’t go amiss either!

    • I did have a picture of me in my underwear at that age.

Maybe I should try to sell it with my used man boxers

      Thx Rob

    • Oh, what kind of adventure will he take you on? Now I am curious.

      • A couple of years ago, I did the NaPoWriMo challenge at DU with 30 stories. I was able to correct my “other” selves as well as learn about my other parallel universes. I escaped zombies, I fought nazis, heck, I even got lost in space, The imagination of an infinite number of multiverse knows no bounds, so who knows how many shenanigans I’ll get into this time. We’ll see

    • Phenomenally penned, Wally. Amazing write my friend and a nice start to the series. Appreciate you.

      Damian

      • I was just mentioning to Fia that I did a 30 part series at DU a couple of years ago and it was a fun adventure (though I was under the time constraint of the challenge, 30 poems in 30 days). I may take on it again this year but I’ll see what I can come up with this time.
