    • Fine
      Very fine
      Like a worm
      Shirt cotton threads pull
      And fray
      Bare skin
      Pale skin finally
      Appears through the gasps
      Through the holes

      Feral

I don’t soften when it’s you.I go feral. The sheets disappearthe moment I feel you near.Only heat remains, thick, animal, undeniable. My body leans forwardbefore permission, before thought survives. Your touch finds me.Something ancient wakes. No patience,no civility, only wantcracking open my chest. I close my eyes...

      • Thank you, Gus. I’m glad this one met you like that. And your hunger for the next makes me smile. 🙂

      • This is exact, in that it leads the reader with a daring promise of heat, without scorching their eyes and ears with blatant words. It’s like lingerie verses naked; Make them yearn first, build the hunger.

      • So cool. I love tidbits like this, that shows us some history about one another, how our creative thoughts started and matured over the years. And sometimes, it also shows how alike many of us approached drawing/writing back then. We are a kindred group, as writers. You’re good people, Sam.

      Youthlessness

Why do people grow? Why do they sweat? Why do they draw Their future plans ahead?   Children like to play With a car, a toy or a key. They like to have their way Like grownups and be.   Why don’t they take their time Grow up like children...

      When I was 14

I was searching for some old stuff up in the attic when I found those. Those were my notes and poems I had written when I was 14 or maybe 16 years old. I thought they were all lost...
