    • Thank you so much! It means the world to me. Truly. 💕

    • Very cool! Hey we like you via your writes! You have a lot going on in your head, so therefore you are not boring right? LOL
I like how you search for what works for you, creativity wise. It reads well as a poem, and then the boom as a song.
      This is great stuff.

    • Truly enjoyed the read then when I reached the bottom and pushed play, it completely elevates your write. Honestly, I enjoy reading first and thinking about how it will sound when I push play
at the bottom. It’s like the music aspect is desert after the meal/read lol
      Hope that makes sense.
      Keep killing it!

      • Thank you so much Adelphina! It does make sense yes! I really appreciate you 🙏🏻

    • hello dearest Drieks we need hope and no one likes me don’t feel bad…it doesn’t matter what circle I’m in I don’t fit one on one I do great in groups not at all… ps I like you I just have failed to comment much of late… this write you should be proud of ❤️

      • Such kind words Crimsin 🙏🏻 this means the world to me. Thank you ❤️

    • “I’m the echo in a room that never speaks
      Nobody likes me
      Because there’s nobody like me
I’m the secret even silence couldn’t keep.”

Powerfully penned, Drieks. Excellent lyrics per usual my friend. That chorus above, next level wordplay! Once again your arrangement highlights your words. Appreciate you.

    • Oh, my god this is so good! I just played this so my wife could hear you again (and me) and it is just phenomenal! And what an incredible voice! Give her some love, girl. Plus the music and arrangement, everything is top notch!

    Immortal Love

Sometimes I can't help but wonder. How do you immortalize love?Maybe by the memories we had together wander. Or trying harder for one another.Perhaps you need to write and sing a ballad.Perhaps a love song, one with thoughtful lyrics. And beat that's very...

    • Favorite stanza,
“Instead finds new beginnings and ways.
Maybe the love we have is represented by a sun.
And a moon that looks down at it fondly”
      I enjoyed this.

    • Don’t forget the scratching of the initials upon a tree trunk!
Wonderful write with plenty of motivating lines so the reader can ponder your message.
      Well done.

  • Poem in the Rhythm of Undoing (With a Lack of Decay)

is meant to undolike skin peeling away from time, like a name dissolving in the mouth. not to be readthe instant the gaze tries to fix it,but fails—gloriously. before it undoes itself, it is already noise,it is already absence,it is already the...

  • Okay, I am stuck with this, but I am trying.

Was born with eyes wide open
To be prepared for the truth
No one seemed to care or wanted to offend
What had happened on the roof

Time withholds memories in a box
We crawl, then stand, and eventually walk
As a rusty key enters an unforgiving lock
Uttering words before learning to talk

    The Poverty of My Reality

Midsummer season on my wintry lips, these modern symptoms from antiquated sorrows.   The sunlight of acceptance, and midnight of isolation.   Youthful blushes and the wrinkles of experience, I have the free will to question my fate.   This wealth of imagination, and the poverty of my reality.   The...

    • Your imagination is a beautiful flowering garden, you are a wealthy man, dear Daniel! Your wording is awesome. You are a master in using the stylistic device of contrasts!

    • Daniel this is sublime in its dark vision. You have so much to say in your poem here and I for one am really liking what you wrote. Though dark it has a flow that is mesmerizing.
