    • Amazing art and amazing poetry Adelphina. I love wildlife and your poem oozes it.

    • Thank you!!! I really appreciate it:). It took a minute but so worth the time.

    • Beautifully penned, Adel. A perfect one, two, punch. Amazing work my friend. Appreciate you.

      • Hey there! Thank you. I appreciate it. I’m loving the idea of digital art and poetry.
Takes a lot longer but so worth the work.

        Thanks for stopping by amigo!

    • What a creative and powerful idea! Using the language of flowers to capture the essence of the Kenyan wildlife is so unique. I especially enjoyed the imagery of the elephants’ “large petal ears” providing shade and the lion with its “mane of flames.” You really capture their survival, beauty, and grace.

    • Hi Romaj.
I’ve been struggling for the write. I had the pic finished a while back but waited to let it simmer before I sat down to write.
I’m so happy you caught all the details. I love all the patterns and colors of wildlife.
      Have a wonderful evening:)

    • A beautifully rendered poem, Adel. The language is exquisite and the picture awesome. 🙂

      • Why thank you Tim!
I’m evolving a little with my digital art.
I wanted to do stripped roses but then I thought why stop there.
Try a safari! I’m loving my digital art classes.
Can’t wait to get going on my second book!

        Thanks for stopping by amigo!

    • This is my fav pic that you’ve done. You know that I am extremely observant! I have to pick out every animal, every nuance and detail. So this one is super interesting for that reason.
Your write does not disappoint either. Your art is obviously your first passion as of late. Yet I know that the words are there to be built around the graphics. You do it all so well. Every time you come up with new material, I smile.
      You’re awesome completely.

      • Love the integration of the wildlife into your art work, great piece it works with our thoughts on desert flowers surviving. Tight work Lady

        • Hey buddy! It’s nice to see you stop by for a comment. You described exactly what I was going for.
          Desert flowers/animals surviving.
When I was doing research for this pic I was going to stick with zebras. But I wanted more. lol.

Nice to see ya here amigo!

      • Thank you for that. It took a lot of time and was very tedious. But after I finished I sat back and said wow.
Did I create that? Sometimes in my writing I do the same thing.
Extending into different territory was a little scary mostly because it’s new and I can’t paint but digital art I can do.
I’m getting more comfortable with it, thank god. lol
It’s a bonus that I get you to smile:)

Thanks for showing me some love on this! MWA

    • Nature’s creative hand always inspires awe. I can smear a bit of paint around on a canvas, but wouldn’t know where to begin with digital art. Clearly, you don’t have such a handicap and can dazzle us with images of the real thing. This fine poem reminds me of the deserts that burst forth in magnificent colors when blessed with rain. Life is tenacious in it’s will to exist.

      • I started taking digital art classes using Procreate. Dude, it has an undo tab!
I can’t paint with paint but digital art I can do. This all started with an idea that I wanted to do
my own artwork for my book. Every page in that book is authentically me. It was important to me so
I took the time and learned something new. To say it was rewarding is an understatement!

Thanks for checking this out and leaving a comment:)

        • I think it’s wonderful that you’ve learned to do that. If I was younger and not experiencing the ravages of old age, I might give it a try.

    • Bloomin bootiful .. Neville 🌻💐🌸💮🪷🌺🌼🌷🌹🥀👍

      • Hey Nev (is it ok to call you that?)

Thanks for stopping by amigo! This picture was actually a leftover bouquet from one of our events.
We got to take home the flower centerpieces on the tables. I took the pic at home on my kitchen table and my
        mind drifted to Africa. lol.

    • Hey, yes of course, I don’t mind at all, in fact most of my family and friends call me Nev, I kind of like it really .. Oh’ n thanks for the additional background info .. I have a thing about Africa too having spent three rather long periods of time in relatively recent years volunteering at a West African psychiatric hospital which I have written extensively about .. Anyway, like I said before, ‘Bloomin bootiful’ .. Neville 😎🌹🥀👍

    • Hi Usha!
I am grateful that you came by and left a comment.

    • Beautifully penned, Adel. Into the book it belongs! Gotta love a musical write that appreciates the mosh pit! Excellent work my friend. I knew Mark would bring up Sabbath! Appreciate you.

      Damian

      • Of course he’d bring up Sabbath. Hahaha
He’s not a swifty fan, so I had to tease him about it. lol

        This was a fun write.
I had the whole scene in my head playing out.

        Thanks for your snaps amigo!!

    • Girl, this has so much spirit in it. Sometimes the “just for fun” ones actually light up the room. Big smiles all around on this one.

      • Hi Willow!! Long time no see chica:)
I’m so happy you stopped by for a comment!
This one kind of wrote itself. I love when that happens. That high is addicting! lol
