First of all, thank you for the mention on this incredible piece. You don’t know how close to a moment in my life you danced with this one. I have a poem Darkness Doesn’t Fade, to be shared at some point later, that you might find interesting. There’s so much beauty in this piece you’ve shared. So much depth. And a clear, simply profound way of telling the story. Also, I have a little white fiber optic tree with a cardinal on it for every loved one I’ve lost over the years, human and furry both. It stays up all year. So much I love about this!

  Wow, your comment affirms my intuition on how writing this one made me think of you, in regards to how you’re wired. Sometimes I(we all?) get vibes from reading the works of others, and it inspires us in some fashion.

Thanks Damian. All is well. Del was here for five days, which is always awesome, until it’s time for her to leave. But we are making do.

I really liked this write, and how it panned out. nothing like I imagined when I was scheming on it. But that’s the beauty of creative thinking and writing.
