    A STORM’S MIMIC EMOTIONS

    Why does it rain?
    When I’m sad?
    Does it feel my pain?
    When things go bad?

    How can it last long?
    I’m still crying
    When will it be gone?
    The outside is pouring.

    Where is the sun?
    To feel better
I just wanna go out and run
    Even with this dark weather

I try to smile a bit
    And when I do
    I see the r…Read More

    • It does feel that way when I am sad. It’s like it wants to cry for me. Lovely

      • I know the timing is right for tears on everyone and how the rain comes in too. Thank you Fia, glad you liked.

  • We Are Not Machines

    Do not worry
if you shall fall and forget.
    Tomorrow always comes.
What’s most important is that you try.
It’s a shame that we forget that everything that we do
starts off with a person just trying.

The stark white of the page
    Uninspired
    Stop
    Breathe
Occupy space inside with other things

  • The Day of Empty Skulls and Full Time

    April 7th rises
    not like a dawn
but like a curtain being pulled back
on a stage that has been waiting
    for centuries.

It is the day of empty skulls,
    not dead,
    not forgotten,
    just hollowed clean
    by the slow, patient erosion
    of everything that once mattered
    too much.

    These skulls are not…Read More

  • Dust Before the Storm

    The warning didn’t come
    with sirens or lights.

    It came quietly,
    a shift in the air,
    a stillness settling
    like dust before a storm.

    The horses grew restless,
    pacing the fence line,
    ears toward something
    I could not yet see.

    Even the cows
    lifted their heads,
    watching the horizon
    as if it held
    an answer I…Read More

  • Diversity

    Being a city boy
    with Native roots,
I have always loved the feel
    of cool, dew-laden grass
    licking my toes;
    the scent of pine needles
    on the forest floor;
    the way a blue butterfly
    will sometimes land
    on your outstretched hand.
As I wrap all these thoughts
    inside my heart,
I begin to see the balance of life.
    We are, all of…Read More

    • Very good…. I love this part the way a blue butterfly
      will sometimes land
      on your outstretched hand.
As I wrap all these thoughts… A beautiful metaphor.. like if a butterfly can sense our thoughts . I do feel they sense those things too. Nice work… Keep it up
