Just received news of Phil Campbell’s passing at the tender age of 64. He and Wurzel were a driving force behind what I like to call the “Orgasmatron sound”, when Lemmy brought another guitarist on board and made it a 4 piece. Motorhead best album imo

      • It was sad news indeed the passing of Phil Campbell. All that’s left now is Mikkey Dee right? The four piece era with Wurzel was a cool era in the band. I love all the lineups in Motörhead. Also, had two of Phil Campbell’s solo efforts. Lemmy and all the guys just loved to play Rock n Roll. Great song and album. Appreciate you – Damian

      • I’ve heard that as well. EVH was a fan of AC/DC. His son Wolfgang said in an interview that one of the first songs Ed taught him was an AC/DC song. Not definite on the song, it might have been “Back In Black” Great band great song. Appreciate you – Damian

Friday 13th, perfect time to stare at the wall and contemplate existence in unwholesome ways.

      • we are on similar wavelenghts tonight it’s uncanny this is a great write lovely one ❤️

      • I get my “news” somewhere in-between conspiracy communities and pure serendipity. It’s actually quite entertaining for me with the mindset I’ve taken the last 10 years or so. Suffering is our lot on this plane, to find meaning in the search for meaning and to feel feelings and think about thoughts. It’s a very painful process, as you well know, especially for empaths.

      • I share your frustration and sorrow. It is exhausting, war, division, and the endless cycle of conflict passed from one generation to the next.

      • I doubt by now that there are “sides” very well defined anymore. It always has been right or wrong, and deep down we all feel it or we don’t. It’s a shame, that morality and justice have fallen so far down the line of what matters.
We are numbed by it all. Your write is a reminder to each of us that the frustration is universal. Your voice is true, and easy to agree with.

      • Powerfully penned, Fia. A very heartfelt write my friend. It’s scary because history is being repeated, and most know those endings had major consequences. We’re witnessing actions that won’t be undone easily or can’t be undone at all. We’re all feeling the weight indeed. I can definitely relate. Appreciate you, cuz.

        • Thank you Damian, history is replaying itself. But the textbooks keep getting rewritten to suit some ones agenda

      • These are the thoughts that shorten my nights and keep me exhausted. I have a whole folder of pieces I’ve written trying to capture these thoughts. They’ll just stay parked in that folder because after a while it just starts to feel like more of the same and I’m tired of my own voice. The numbness isn’t enough cover the pain, that’s for sure

        • Thank you willow, you cannot cover the pain, even when you are numb something still seeps through

      • Wow, this is extremely thought provoking.

Thank you so much for putting this out there to reflect on.

      • Fia this is a poem of great clarity and immense originality. I have read others on the dark times ahead but this poem held me rapt and fascinated. Fine scribing.
