Peter, this touched my heart. Suffering is used to refine and strengthen us, much like a blacksmith uses a furnace to refine precious metals. Stay strong. 🌹🌾🕊️

Brilliantly penned, Fia. Wonderful storytelling, it kinda reminds me of a sitcom my friend. Excellent write. Appreciate you.

I enjoyed this. Comparing the kiss to drinking water is imaginative–I like it. I need to “see” the action in a story, and that was easy with this. Probably because I’m a very foolish (and hopeless) romantic, I feel bad when romance has to take a back seat to life goals. Maybe she’ll see him again?

A thought provoking writing, my friend. What will be after death? Will there be anything at all?
I think that the afterlife is a kind of stopover that gives us the opportunity to rest and to reflect until we reincarnate again. Havan and hell are no places but other expressions for the light and the Shadow within all human beings.
Sehr schön geschrieben, Daniel!
