I am reading and I will do my best to get eyes on the creatives. Being a creative person is never easy, but it is a necessity in my eyes.

Well I was hooked from the first line, where does poetry go when it dies? I guess into oblivion to exist but be unseen and unheard. It’s crazy how we have so devalued and under appreciated art in any of its true forms when the world we live in now screams all the things that should make it thrive.

Interestingly, being weak on something doesn’t mean you’re not strong. It is just for that one thing that we have to learn from.

There’s definitely a lot of truth in this, but also everything in moderation. Becoming fixated on things won’t make you better, just neurotic.

I can relate. I was also a people pleaser before I stood up for myself.

I was never a people pleaser and probably never will be. The only ones I have respect and love for are the few that give the same to me in return. The rest can go fuck themselves! I love this bold write. You stand tall, showing your strength and determination. A marvelous and powerful piece. xox

A friend once told me “Not everyone deserves your soft.” I am who I am, but they have to prove they deserve the best of me now. I’ll always move with compassion, but if we don’t take care of ourselves…who will? I burnt my filters too. Totally feeling this one!
