• April 11th — Ladders, Snakes and the Art of Forgetting

    April 11th arrives
like a board game spilled across the floor,
    ladders leaning toward impossible heights,
    snakes coiled in patient spirals,
    waiting for the moment
you think you understand the rules.

It is a day of ascents and descents,
    of sudden rises
    and quiet collapses,

    WAITING

    Waiting ….

    I wait …
    I stay …
    In place …

    I’m waiting…
    I’m praying …
    In my space….

    Waiting …

    The long days ..
    My same road ways
    Time.. slow pace …

    Waiting….

    Hoping for a change
    For a hand in marriage
That man that’s only a mirage

    Waiting…

    For a love
For destiny I still think…Read More

    • Quite often even the dark and distasteful thoughts must be laid bear. Maybe we’re under the impression no one cares, but people do relate. This is dark and disturbing. But life is too sometimes.

    • Hi,
A heartfelt thoughts that really touched me. I can see how deeply you are connected her. Parents are Gods, in Hindu mythology we pray and bow to three beings who shaped our life and made us,
      Mathru devobhava
      Pithru devobhava
      Acharya devobhava
Mother father and teacher are equal to God and we seek their blessings and they have invested whole their life in making us.

Thank you for your beautiful lines about your mom.
