The boat theme in this is eerily good.

The first line immediately sucked me in.
You do not waste any words with your poetry and you let us see what we see. I really like that in poetry.

It was a dreadful act but so was the response.America has changed much since then and not for the better.

I hope one day the good American,the kind American,the compassionate American,the generous, welcoming American will triumph over the greedy, selfish egomaniacs that currently run the show…..but I doubt it.

I remember the day well. I lost two friends in it, both fireman. Everyone knew someone who died and many lost their faith that day. This is an excellently written poem.
