What a wonderful little story! I decided to read the text myself instead of listening to the recording. In the beginning it was a little confusing and hard to read, but after I while I developed a Texan accent! 😀 lol

I’m glad you liked it. I was an entertainer most of my life and this is one of my works I performed many times, sometimes for kids at the Austin Children’s Museum. You are a really good storyteller. I could not stop reading it once I started. Almost gave me a feeling of “Lean On Me”, the movie, and “The Wonder Years”, the TV show, combined. Enjoyed this.
