When I die
I want to go
Gracefully like
An autumn leaf
I won’t cling desperately
To a barren tree
But leave this life
Light-hearted and free
Looking back at a lifetime
Full of compassion
Full of kindness
Full of love
At last, I let go
Gently floating down
In all my brilliance
My beauty, my colors and my light
One last exciting dance
Before finally resting
In the soothing arms
Of our Mother Nature
