The Edge Where We Burn

HomePoetryThe Edge Where We Burn
Summary:
" Where danger lives "

The wild rises again
 Teeth bared, pulse screaming
Every nerve alive to your fire
I give myself, untamed.
 No asking, no holding back
Just the rush, the hunger, the need
Draw me in, let us ignite
 Where the danger lives
  And desire answers you.

Every nerve aflame
 Edging closer to the break
  The thrill sharp, sweet, consuming
I shiver under your touch
 Want pressing against want
  Every heartbeat a drum
Draw me over the edge
 Where heat and danger mingle
And nothing else exists but us

Every pulse lingers
 Every lust afire
  Danger sweats, breathes, surrenders
I quake, gripped within your walls.
 Aching to feel the current
  Flow between us both
Make me swim in you
 Where waters run unending
  And we vanish into yearning

Fire out of the cage
 I am animal, uncaged
  Begging you eat me alive
Scratch me, devour me
 Leave me wanting more
  Trembling where the hunger feeds
I erupt in your rush
  I explode inside our flame
 The heat answers your play.
Every pulse, every shiver
 Carried to the brink
  Until we burn together
   raw and unbroken.
