Summary:

“Each tattoo carved in flesh made him wince in pain
But he, welcomed the disfigurement without regret or shame,
“In the distance the sound of sand cascaded like a waterfall
With snake like movements down skull decorated walls,

“For seven gruesome days he endured the taste of the knife
As each cut disintegrated away a small piece of his old life,
“An unrewarding life as an archeologist
Along with an ongoing messy marriage which had turned into shit,

“When the cutting stopped the pain amplified like a hungry beast
As the cannibalistic tattoos illuminated and on his flesh begin to feast,
“Sandpapering away his leftover flesh all the way to the bone
Across every inch of his body while slowly continuing to roam,

“Hollowed sockets became prisons for dissolved eyes
As reflections of life and hallucinations of death started to collide,
“Sight itself transformed his intelligence into a psychological bleed
That he mentally battled, because mystical power he intended to achieve,

“When finished in an ancient towering hourglass he was encased
Showered in golden sand while a black mask covered his skull face,
“Memories of vile murder in his mind was continuously feed
While outside his hourglass containment silently screamed the undead,

“Looking at them he know they were the ones that failed
If he had lips, he would smile as they hopelessly yelled,
“With enslavement determination and an iron will
He caused some undead to implode and the others to kneel,

“The golden sands changed color to an ugly solid black
As those in contact with desert sand around the world had a heart attack,
“Regardless if it was human, animal, insect or germ-it died
Sending their murdered essence on its final ride,

“Then darkness. How long has he been gone?
Hours, days, weeks, because time now became nothing but a lost song,
“With a strong vision of an old life he attended to end with a deadly strike
He begin the hunt of his former co-worker, child and wife”.
