Equal Before God
— Jessy Jacob ❤️
Everyone is equal before God.
You may think the rich live happily,
while the poor suffer in silence —
but life is not so simple.
God has shared joy equally among all.
A beggar on the footpath
may smile with the same peace
as a wealthy trillionaire like
Jeff Bezos.
You may wonder,
“With endless money, why is he not happy?”
He travels in private jets,
owns more than most can dream,
yet carries burdens unseen,
worries that money cannot heal.
The beggar worries only
about today’s meal
and a place to sleep tonight —
yet his heart may rest lighter,
free from endless tension.
Life becomes a choice:
to chase wealth with restless thoughts,
or to live simply with peace within.
Faraway mountains always look beautiful,
but the closer you walk toward them,
the harder the climb becomes.
What seemed perfect from a distance
reveals its own struggles.
Still, God is just.
A good-hearted person
who works hard and understands life spiritually
will live more meaningfully.
Challenges may still come,
but such a soul walks without guilt,
with courage and inner peace.
But those who exploit others,
those with wicked hearts,
will surely suffer someday.
Life itself teaches them
that evil thoughts create painful paths.
In the end,
peace does not belong to riches or poverty alone.
It belongs to the heart
that understands love, goodness, and God.
