Summary:
For a long time, Camp Crystal Lake has a bad reputation for murder, mystery, and bad luck. When Steve Christy, the son of the original owners, re-opens the camp, bad things happen. For Alice Hardy, the Assistant Camp Counsellor, and other campers, they fall victim to a killer seeking revenge. When a storm arrives, everyone tries to survive the night.

The weather was hot in the searing heat.

Claudette smiled, as she sang an old song.

‘Hang your head, Tom Dooley! Hang your head! You’re going to die!’.

Her long, blonde hair glistened in the evening sky.

Barry waited.

They headed towards the 1930’s-era barn.

The oak trees were near the eerie, dark woods.

For her, the darkness came to shatter the evening with dread.

Barry wiped away strands of blonde hair with his small, right hand.

Inside the barn there were farming equipment.

‘Does Mary-Ellen kiss better than I do?’, Claudette asked.

‘How do I know?’, Barry answered.

‘Oh, you!’.

The light was turned on.

They ran upstairs.

Once the camp counsellors kissed—the brown door opened.

The killer grabbed a sharp hunter’s knife in her right hand.

And went up the stairs.

‘Hang on. Someone’s here’, Claudette said.

‘We weren’t doing anything, really. We were kissing’, Barry stammered.

The knife came towards his chest—and he screamed in horror.

Claudette fled.

She ripped away a yellow bale of hay with her left hand.

Then the killer stabbed her…and the death curse of Camp Crystal Lake returned.
