Summary:
National poetry month 3. Anyone who asserts East European mobs are not the hardest in the world are simply cyber warriors. I write from empirical truths. Twice I have ran from them and I was a 6’ 5” Welsh brick shiit-house. Disclaimer. Years and years ago. Violence is soooo ugly. Not that anyone gives the remotest toss, but I’m Welsh first and British second.

The men who slit throats

have time on their side

even olive branches are carved from steel

Belgrade eyes begged ‘death to the British’

forthcoming, homecoming

hotels could have been a morgue

They laugh and spit at the gun barrel –

what safety is one trigger

when you are completely surrounded?

Split the atom

let Jesus talk to Einstein

the only language they knew was murder
