My Missing Hand

Bookmark
HomeUncategorizedMy Missing Hand
Summary:
This poem is dedicated to a friend who has a disability in his left hand.

Where…

Can I find this?

Are you going to lead me?

A fulfilling seek

I’m taking a peak

I’m lost for words

Balance me

Like an elegant

Piece of art

My attempt to hold

I’m so cold

I lean within

A physical grasp

Oh, this will last

True to word

Leave me be

We shall meet again

I will see

A little geeky

Less meaty

Super thin

Further taller

I’ll be your caller

Leave it,

All with me

For I am

Your mystery…

    1. He’s leaning against me with his left hand that has fingers missing. So I’m slightly supporting him.

It’s not just physically, but I also feel like I’m doing it emotionally as well. x
