Summary:
* There is a technical glitch in my profile - an ugly little gremlin - preventing me from viewing, relying and adding comments. I aint being rude or ignorant. The story is old, I know, but it goes on...

The dead cat on the road

suggested the urgency of life

grave’d by tyres which fled the scene,

this is what they call ‘falling without ladders’

The edges are no longer parallel

multiply the somethings, tangled kite strings

flight will always be the distance

between you and me

There is a sea

this side of a ghost tsunami

where I lay shipwrecked between your thighs,

messages in bottles are emojis

upon late night masturbations

And dreams

to have and to hold

told and sold on eBay,

and dreams

as slow snow

wreathing Welsh cathedral bells,

and dreams…

If you enter my bedroom

make sure to leave shoes on the roof,

the cat is ready for burial and

only God’s ballerina could keep us grounded

    1. I’m a bit mind-blown by this piece.

Some incredible choice of words. Vivid imagery throughout.

I love the third stanza. It’s taken me back to my past.

Most relationships don’t last and writing is a very useful way of releasing it.

      A pleasure to read. x
