Use of Hands

HomePoetryUse of Hands
Summary:
infant, child & teenage adolescence.

She’s growing fingernails!

Look at her tiny hands!

She’s holding up her own bottle!

She’s learned to wave!

She is brilliant at handwriting.

She keeps doodling on her hands.

She isn’t great with using her fingers to count.

She can tie her shoelaces!

She’s huddled up in her room with

 ink stains on her hands.

What else can those hands do?

Come on, why won’t you hold my hand?

I know you want this.

She has her hands clasped to her face

as her tears run through her fingers

She has hands of sin
