- Waiting
A deep inhale and exhale
Signals my sense that lay dormant to awaken
I don’t want to turn
Feeling the air vibrates with your presence
Chills running through me
Should be cold instead they are (intense)
The space between us
It is an inch
One solitary inch
Is the distance where your pull is unescapable
The air thickens
Leaning into a whisper
“Hello”
More, say more
Greeted by silence, as I sway
Hair pushed to one side
Wait… breathe in …warm breath on neck
Silence broken by my bass heart beating
Textured finger tips barely glide across parted lips
I’ll wait for what comes next
If I don’t…..

Passionately penned, Fia. A very steamy write indeed my friend. Nicely done. Appreciate you, cuz.

Thank you Damian. Have not done one in a minute. Trying to get people to smoke. lol
Chère F.,
Doing it is magic.
Writing it doubles that.

Romantic with passion hiding beneath. Nice one Fia.
Thank you, Tim
Nice! Just the right amount of allure and salted with some desire for taste!
This is great stuff, Fia. Poetic all the way.
Thank you, Styxian,
I need more!
But I guess I’ll have to wait…
You just have to click on one of the chapters and you can enjoy. Thank you Property Poet
Fia this read with the soft fire of embers smoldering in your poet’s heart. I enjoyed this so much. And that ending was so witty. A perfect subtlety for your gorgeous poem.
