What the Window Could See

Bookmark
HomeUncategorizedWhat the Window Could See
Summary:

The pane holds back the wind but lets the world in
with years of seeing what the window could see, where
the sun dragged it fingers until heavy with time
before the first snow and the ghost of my aging,
freeing the mind to wonder, whispering shadows
what the window could see.

    1. One of your lesser dark interiors. I love it. Imagine a lifetime of watching the world from the same window and seeing beyond the reality of what’s happening, but being able to reflect, having the quiet awareness of time, memory, and one’s own aging.
