Day 257. Since adding meat to my diet, I feel much better. My headaches are gone, and my strength has returned. I have resumed my morning walks. I am actively reading technical literature and watching movies.

Meanwhile, my brain continues to make cynical calculations, and there is nothing I can do about it. My Barbara weighed about 70 kilograms. She was big, tall, athletic. On average, the human body is about 40% muscle tissue, which means there’s about 28 kilograms of meat. I’ll be able to eat for at least 56 days.

To preserve the meat, I modified the design of my “pressure cooker” and now I can switch between freeze and reheat modes at will. Before lunch, I take out the frozen pieces, wrap them in a piece of insulation, and use the heating elements to reheat my portion, then switch the device back to refrigerator mode.

Unfortunately, I didn’t cut up and gut the body beforehand. The taste of some of the pieces was spoiled, and besides, it was completely impossible to use the broth for food. I just had to return it to the liquid regeneration system. I’ll have to take that into account… next time. Jeez. I try not to think about it.
