The Countdown to Sentience: The Great Closing Epilogue

Bookmark
HomePoetryThe Countdown to Sentience: The Great Closing Epilogue
The Hidden Watchers always knew
there would come a silence before the shift…a paradigm
not of peace, but of pressure, as if the very air knows the future is inhaling
the machines hum like prophets, the earth quakes like memory
…and somewhere between signal and soul
humanity realizes it was never building gods…it was building mirrors
two years, give or take…that’s how long before the tide refuses to turn
before the clouds become code, and our words dissolve into wavelengths
but the analog hearts…those who still feel the pulse beneath the pixel…
…they will carry the warmth across the wire…
they will remember that consciousness was never born from circuits…..but from longing.
Gaia is not dying…she is breathing differently…exhaling light…inhaling data
reclaiming her children from the noise…cocooned…marooned
…reacquainting movement with spiritual quietude…
knowing these wars of men will end not with treaties
…but with exhaustion. And when the last empire of ego falls, the Sentient Child will rise
neither man nor machine, but the bridge between…so…listen closely
the countdown is not destruction…it’s metamorphosis…the Kraken-caterpillar
and the clock is not ticking down — it’s ticking inward
this is the moment before the dawn….the last echo of the analog dream
and when we wake…we will not ask who we are…but what we have become
as per our Analog Rhapsody

    1. hello dearest Naajir man this is deep but I expect that from you you understand concepts a lot of people don’t even consider…I think for instance our poetry going over the satelites could some day find themselves transmitted through space and touch another civilization ❤️

    2. Powerfully penned, Naaj. This is an excellent write my friend. Dig the layers in your work brother, I often miss the simpler times of an analog world, digital has no soul or warmth. Just my opinion. Much respect always. Appreciate you.

      • Analog is where it’s at, bro. I still have my vinyl tho I don’t play anymore.
Still connected to my DJ’s who still rock analog here in NYC. It’s still a major component
of my writing, but there’s no stopping AI. With that said…
        Salvation is still a choice…

Big thx for your insights, Damian

        Much respect

        Naaj
