100 Years

Bookmark
Summary:
A love poem for someone special.

It’s been an year.
Then ten..
Been a hundred years.

But nobody knew what it meant.
Over the years,I sang this song.
Hoping you will appear, confess to me.

And try to sing along.
When roses bloom, and clouds are gloomy.
I crossed the roads oh so busy.

To find you beyond the world.
For I thought of you every day.
I tried my best all the way.

As I sang and wrote this song.
They called me crazy and whatnot.
It’s been a hundred years.

But my love for you never rot.
The dress and suit made me think of you.
And I hoped one day we will be tthere too.

The slight breeze in the air.
Made me think of someone oh so fair.
Ten years,and then a hundred.

Thousands of lives lived without you.
So I will cherish this only one.
For if I am reborn and you are not there.

Will it even be fair?
Over the centuries, everyday I thought of you.
Ten years,then a hundred.

This century felt so blue without you.
So come on and sing with me.
A hundred years is not too long for you and me.

When I saw a four leaf clover I thought of you.
And I wanted to be yours, through and through.
So tell me,if you ever left me after all these years.

I would still write this song.
And I would hope for very long.
Even if I’m dead.

They called me crazy,and whatnot.
And if you leave me,you’ll be all I had.
But then I remember your smile.

The words oh so sweet.
And gloomy days lift,I only hoped for the best.
Whenever we get peaceful rest.

And we always think of eachother.
Musical notes made me think of you.
A torch burned bright and true.

The world almost ended, but I still love you.
For the stars may bring you back to me.
We will be celestial beings.

The moon and sun.
Gods of the end of the run.
And music softly hum.

And this story will soon be done.
At the end,I loved you true.
Emotions lovefool.

I will think of you till the very end.
And you will know what it all meant.
