Summary:
A Description of the onset of autumn... and how it affects my mood and that of nature itself

Cool autumn breeze

shrouds my shoulders

crisp cerulean brings forth

the last of muggy days

while flowers set about to wilt

Tree leaves burst

a montage of color

flutter like birds who cavort

One can reap a slight rush

when wind begs for attention

and rips the leaves with zeal

hence, trees begin to de-nude

disclose their intention to hibernate

through winter’chill

Their tears frozen

like mine

silence is absent

except for the intrepid beasts

who spy on us

    1. Autumn is my favourite season – is there there anything that explains that death is an un-permanent? Whatever the long sleep, there’ll be a memory, an emotion, a tear or two, a baby born and happines derived from that wee darling’s first cry. You write with enormous sensitivity to life and also your love of Life and its companions. Many, many thanks for sharing not on fine writing but its meaning.

    2. As beautiful and inspiring as autumn is, to witness the leaves in their pendulum dance, has a tendency to get me a little emotional. We learn so much from the trees – in their letting go. Your poetic offering of such an eloquent season brings it all into view, Betty. Thank you for your inspiring words today!

    3. Dear Betty,

You have delved with much thoughts and tried to feel the death of leaves that become dry and swept by as if thrown by the wind. I see how you expressed with season as a reason for the fleeting changes but it made with deep sorrow in a silent way the emotions could cuddle for letting the autumn to fetch your love. I could relate my life to this unflinching love to tree as a mother that can only weep with her dryness of leaves. I could relate the winter and change in colors that looks so beautiful to see the nature, but it is like candle giving away light at the last bit of wax with a bright light by getting dried eventually to part only to let the season pass and the parted leaves born again. This clearly shows life and death are circles to take and give nature a serene look to inspire more and more life to take.

If we know the nature balance we know how to live with nature without hurting and letting others to live. A clear descriptive heartfelt emotion you did with much simpler and beautiful way.

I see tree as a man who stands still or a woman stands still only to give back the love and hope for more love yet to unfold with joyful moments…

      Jessy Jacob.
