I was born from two people
who did not know what they created
A force to be reckoned with,
never to be underestimated.
As I walk into the room,
all eyes are on me.
Smooth like ice
Not seeing the fire being set free
What they don’t understand
is what is truly beneath the skin in here
If I were you
I would not come near.
Destruction is my name
Creation was left at the door
You were never on my level.
You belong on the floor
With every rhyme that I spit
In every truth that I am givin
Clutching at your chest
and you wish that your not livin
Do you understand what is before?
I don’t think you do
or else you would not be standing here?
You would be walking out the door
I am death incarnate
with red lips, red hair from the earth.
. Fuck with me, you don’t understand
Unless you’re under the dirt
Look at the room,
Do you understand the power?
That I exhume
Time is ticking you’re close to your doom
I may give you a smile
you may see a twinkling in my eye,
What you don’t understand
I’ve already planned 7 ways for you to die.
This is rolling off the tongue,
so easy, so slick, so smooth
like drinking a glass of water
Every drop holds truth
You see the ocean, how deep it is.
Keep coming forward.
They’ll find you at the bottom.
It is what it is

fucking shit…. I left for a few weeks now you want me dead… ok im leaving
Don’t you dare leave.
Um…duly noted. Definitely destruction incarnate
Thank you, Willow
This is rather unsettling knowing the devastation that’s so common these days with active shooters. Very scary.
I did not want you to feel that way. Going with the prompt I created with Ambyr, He picked creation, and I chose to go with devastation. That encompasses Fire, Water, Ice
No problem. The poem has a lot of weight to it and a lot of fire in its delivery.
Powerfully penned, Fia. This is a change of pace my friend, you always prove there is no subject you can’t tame. It’s too close to call, you both delivered amazing writes. Appreciate you.
Damian
Thank you Damian. I needed to stretch and get out of comfort zone
You nailed this one. No doubt about it. The kind of write that pulls you along in an inexorable tide of power and rhyme. I keep envisioning cement shoes while reading 😁
Haha well that’s interesting. Thank you Detritus
