When you finally saw me
Actually, saw me
There could be no other between us, you said

 Passions Inferno was a blaze.
Demons dance, enjoying their bodies intertwined.
Angel tears blessed the union

 Then it was gone
Withdrawn as if the ultimate sin was committed
Nailed to a cross for an imaginary crime

 Tears could have fallen.
If ducts were not  blocked  by anger
If contempt didn’t shape a mask over the eyes

The first lash of an undeserving blow
Hit the mark and broke a bone
Soliciting a whimper but never a scream

Never a scream

When left in a heap of pain and suffering
Why couldn’t it be seen
The mean that was within

Love is a demon’s creation.
It obscures and twists the mind,
That being in complete submergence is good.

Love…

It is cruel

It is black

It beats unrhythmically

It is mean

    1. Awww, Fia =(

How poignantly vivid your pen has laid its sorrows’ disappointments upon our hearts … so many times we’ve gone through such relatably plaintive ache, yet, your poetic emotion expresses it all so vividly, as though it could be any one of us experiencing your own moments of disquiet.

      “Love is a demon’s creation.
It obscures and twists the mind,
That being in complete submergence is good.”

Oh, yes! Nothing’s like LOVE it when it’s good, when all is wine and roses; for, love shall seek not but for its own satisfaction. It will bend and twist you, and shine and dim upon you, while holding onto those within its grip. And, there is no single answer to the question of what love really is, but I have learned that when love is in control, there are no guarantees.

I so admire the smoothness and imagery with which you paint emotions, feeling, and thoughts upon the canvas our minds, hearts, and souls … the hallmarks of a true artist’s touch.

Swearing we’ll never fall in-love again, our needs are far too deep not to.
Beautiful work, Dear Poetess … thank you for sharing! ⁓ Richard🖌

      Superb artwork choice:
