I Was The Violin Player on the Titanic
It just can’t be that the end is near;
I see the moon and it’s bright and clear
and though I feel a sway beneath
my feet hold firm and I stand with ease.
I must recite some poem aloud
to block away the bustling crowd
chanting aloud and looking down
as the air grows heavy with clouds.
It seems as so too pretty an eve
to ever last though undecieved
where all that remains will be there still
surely not gone in a sudden spill.
I know I shall never die even in this
the truth can’t lie, the music I’ve made
is too, immortal and in such company
revives a portal to where we all can
drift away singing our song
forever waiting for day.

Thank you, Dear PR,
For treating us to such a delightful taste of your captivating poetic voice.
By the vivid imagery, emotive thrum, smooth, flowing lines, and Freestyle rhyme scheme, one can easily tell this is definitely not the first dip of your skillfully dancing pen.
“I know I shall never die even in this
the truth can’t lie, the music I’ve made
is too, immortal” (sighhh!)
With grateful smiles ‘n hugs to Thee! ⁓ Rascal🤗
