Tonight I am interviewing, Fia Naturie, who I met several years ago on DUP. Fia, please introduce yourself to the readers, who may not know you.
Hi, I’m Fia Naturie, you may know me as one of the owners of Stars Rite, but I am also the creator of Hypo Frost magazine and now bookstore. I am a lover of writing, a true poetryphile, and a bibliophile. Lover of poetry and books
Question 1: Who is your favorite poet or novelist?
Fia: My favorite Poet is Robert Frost, and my favorite novelist is
Question 2: When pontificating, do punctuation marks make the creator of prose or verse?
Fia: I do not think so. I think that sometimes the punctuation makes the piece stop abruptly. Without it, you set your own pace in your mind. I am not saying that punctuation here and there is not needed, but it is not always necessary.
Question 3: Do you ever hum a song to test the depth of the verse or line of prose you have scribbled?
Fia: Depends on if I had written a poem that ends up being a song. I normally don’t hum a song when writing.
Question 4: What genre best suits you when reading or writing?
Fia: I am eclectic in my taste of reading and writing. I like science fiction, fantasy, erotic fiction, dark romance, thrillers, I’ll do a memoir here and there.I tend to write in these categories as well.
Question 5: What is your longest slide (hypotenuse) into darkness that you have written…horror, ghost, etc…?
Fia: Goodbye My Lover, which is a vampiric romance. I am at the end of that story.
Question 6: What poet or writer best describes your psyche?
Fia: The writer would be Laurell Hamilton, who writes the Anita Blake vampire series.
Question 7: Do you have a dividing point between erotica and pornography?
Fia: When I write my erotica, I want you to feel the piece. Visualize it in your mind. I just let the work take me where it goes. If you want porn than you need to go and find it. I do write explicitly when the muse deems it.
Question 8: Do you rely on AI when writing?
Fia: I use it to correct misspellings and grammar. I have used it to create a picture for a project.
Question 9: Do you often write or occasionally?
Fia; I write every day. My stories come to me, and I have to write them down
Question 10: What is your albatross when writing?
Fia: Time. Not enough time to get the work done when it is fresh on my mind.
Question 11: How long have you been writing online?
Fia: I have been writing for years. Almost sixteen years.
That concludes my interview with Fia, If you are not familiar with her works, give her a view.
