terror

Bookmark
Summary:
dark, fear
cast for the morrow doom
reflecting the dark day
insipent need tires
instead glorify the keen
who weeps in the day's keep

solemn terror, I see the shadows haunting the brightness
grey is your stead
accept your fate

greedy desire is fickle
will this man do
or perhaps another

seeking the honesty of the bleak
because it's the only truth
harsh mistress of the damned
cunning of intellect
derelict of thought

let the sun go down on my mind
and silence the voices who terrorize

    1. There can be so many things that terrorize us. The worst is regrets of the past that stay with us. That haunt us in our sleep or just won’t let us sleep.
Getting rid of those demons can be a long, agonizing and scary process.
      Really sharp personification here.
