You have been lost for days in the big blue
Searching for dry land only to be pulled deep out
The salt of the ocean mingles with salted tears
Where is the beacon to show you home
You begin to swim towards the others
They give you a tiny glimmer of hope
Then, realizing the false safety they provided
Has weighed you down as you fight to breathe
Home…You just want a home
To be recognized and understood
To feel that you matter
Every ripple you make matters
Out in the distant land
Calling you to it as a siren song
Focused and driven, you take a tentative step
Could this be home?

Beautifully penned, Fia. Into the book it belongs! Amazing write my friend. Appreciate you.

Thank you, Damian ❤️
Home isn’t where the heart is.
Home is where the mind is at peace with life.
Thank you, Peter ❤️
To find home can be beautiful. I find life always pulls me away from that happiness. But I guess even more the reason to appreciate it.
Great ink
