You are something that will always be out of reach to me.
Something I can sense with even blurred consciousness.
Though your form is both perfect and clear to me.
Do I know you? Or am I mad in love?
Is this love poem with sails bound for an old flame?
The sea between us is something that makes us untouchable.
Those jade eyes of yours with winking lids,
surely our eyes have embraced, though
not our hands, nor our lips, nor our bodies.
I want nothing more than something of a touch.
Someone to share my tongue, my sweaty skin.
So, you see? You are something untouchable for me.
Something of a congenial spirit and mind you are,
something of radiance that stuns and awes.
Something untouchable even with my persistence.
Something untouched by me, you are.
Something warm in the cold of loneliness, you are.
Something cold in the anticipation of my lips you sadly are.
This is a love poem that is waiting to be touched by many eyes. lovely
Hopefully the right eyes touch them! I’ll be waiting however long I have to!
