As we ease into the summer months, I’d be remiss if I didn’t remind you to carry the essentials every poet and writer needs.

If you’re old-school like some of us, don’t forget your trusty pen, a small notepad, and maybe even a pair of sunglasses if you’re trying to stay incognito.
For those embracing the new-school style, just use the voice-to-text feature on your phone to quickly capture your ideas before they slip away.

Line Spacing Tip

On a more technical note—it’s been brought to my attention that some folks are having issues with line spacing. For some users, spacing is automatically removed (likely because you’re working in a Word document or using a Mac, which can transfer over your formatting).

Until our IT team finds a universal fix, here’s a quick tip:
After you finish a line, press Shift + Enter instead of just Enter. This will eliminate the extra space between lines and keep your formatting cleaner.

News Location Update

We’re working to streamline where news updates are posted. Ideally, these updates will soon appear only in the group page made specifically for Stars Rite announcements. Since not everyone has joined yet, we’re still posting on the main page for now—but if you haven’t already, please join the group to stay in the loop!

Contest Winners Announcement

To everyone who participated in our recent contests—thank you!
We’ll be announcing the winners very soon. Badges will be awarded for Winner, First Runner-Up, and Second Runner-Up, so keep an eye out for those!

Group Conversations

Last but not least, there’s been a request for easier group chats. Good news—you can have group conversations with your friends on the platform.

Here’s how:

1. Go to the main page and click on Activity.
2. In the top bar, you’ll see @ Mentions.
3. At the bottom of the page, you’ll find options like Public, Only Me, and My Friends.
4. Click My Friends, and you can start a group discussion where all your selected friends can join in.
