Upon this page of poetry….

We write with hopeful hearts our songs,
because it helps us right life’s wrongs
and sets bound spirits soaring free,
upon this page of poetry.

It takes all kinds, in every form …
there’s really no accepted norm,
to spill life’s woes or ecstasy
upon this page of poetry.

For, there are those who’ve travelled miles,
some dance along with happy smiles …
while others rise from bended knee,
upon this page of poetry.

If kind or harsh, with hopes or none,
to find true love or ending one …
we come exposed as we can be,
upon this page of poetry

Pen Spring’s warm showers passing by,
each blade of grass, cloud in the sky,
by mountain, land or deepest sea,
upon this page of poetry.

We’ll write each thought, miss not a touch …
although we share, it’s ne’er too much.
It matters not what minds’ eyes see,
upon this page of poetry.

Shine forth your warmest, sweetest charms
then, open wide those welcome arms …
dream loving dreams for all to see,
upon this page of poetry.
