Something has died within me.
Something like the soul,
yet my body lives on.
Something has occupied the void.
And I know not what it could be!
But it feels elegantly poetic!
It may be what saves my life.
And may be what drives me to live on,
in a life, where one can pen magic.
And evoke sweet madness.
And provoke the mind
to imagine the beauty
of this long, dark journey
through Daniel Long’s mind.
Hauntingly beautiful mind,
yet I feel I carry a burden
which I can no longer.
However, I shall live on!

Introspective write, Daniel. Very powerful spill my friend. Appreciate you.

We got you.
I admire the ease with which you express your inner world. Stoic, melancholy, honest and beautiful write. You are there in every word, thank you for the share!
