dwindling was my faith, our sacred place was closing
getting lost in the fog you all were disappearing
emerging elsewhere seemed I couldn’t follow
then a nymph came to draw me in
secrets were uttered and I became enchanted
my family and friends were gathered elsewhere
just beyond the horizon
my heart soared and my mind opened
I could see your faces clearly
intricate design fate gathered her children
misplaced and bewildered, they chant new beginnings into being
a large tree with big leafy perchs
for the starlings of the underground to gather in
a big sigh was released and I sing my first song in my new home

Lovely. I’m happy to see you here. Welcome!

Brenda, this read like a song of spring to me and indeed this is a place for new beginnings. Glad to see you here and read this sparkling poem by you.
