Woven within the fibers of happiness
are those unexpected miniscule moments.
That saved you.
Were the brave you.
That made you stop and feel alive.
Moments that silence my heartbeat
of agony that pounds inside of me.
Summer days so lanky, so lengthy.
The years yearn to swallow time.
Reduce to just flashes of the death of desires.
Shine stained leaves in there sweet thrash.
Trees seductively shake and bash.
Days and years will pass.
It’s within those miniscule happiness ‘s that the feeling lasts.
