Lonely Goddess
Love is a gold medallion
so ancient it is a priceless
relic of a lost age
when magic reigned
like a forest queen
under a sunlit canopy
whose curtain of light
is her green gown
and her plaited tresses
shimmered dreamily
in the morning light
of a thousand centuries
as veils of raindrops
cloaked her secret eyes
in golden tears of moonlight
as night stars illumined her heart
like twinkling chakras
penetrating her 5 million pores
with soft embers
from distant galaxies
whose spirit glow transcends
her lonely light years

You described this goddess so beautifully. Her green gown and plaited tresses, very nice
Thanks so much, Fia. Glad you enjoyed my vision of the Goddess. Deep gratitude. She came to me like a spring breeze while in a bohemian environment conducive to writing poetry.
