Beautifully penned, ST. This is a lovely little write my friend. Nicely done. Appreciate you.

Ohhh, thank you again, I can’t really thank you enough. I tried the website writerscafe.org, and even after commented on others’ work a lot after 5 months or so no one had commented on a single poem of mine, so y’all are down-right spoiling me.
I am feeling badly I have yet to return the favour, especially with my friend from another site, M.E., who kindly gave me a selection of his work that he thought I’d like. I threw out my back earlier this month, and got, umm, this is embarrassing to admit, but a little ahead of myself with my usual pain medication, so I’m in withdrawal and in pain, but as my Oma always told me as a teenager if I had a hang-over, “Beschwert euch nicht, wir müssen für unsere Sünden büßen, damit wir lernen, nicht wieder zu sündigen!”, and I’ll leave the translation to you if you are interested, but it’s sort of funny.
So I WILL read your work, and comment, and on everyone else’s who have generously read and commented on mine (ESPECIALLY my m8, M.E.!) as soon as I get my new prescription filled. But you say it’s okay, you don’t mind reading and commenting on mine, that it isn’t like horse-trading, so I believe that in you, and it isn’t so much like I am building up a debt to pay, though I feel reciprocation is only good manners, I really am looking forward to digging in and reading, as I love reading poetry even more than writing it.
You’re a great bloke, cheers to ya!
