Let The World Burn

It was a dream I had just one day.
I was the female protagonist.
In a fantasy world of fiction far away.

There is a post apocalypse.
Flames oh so beyond destroyed the place.
The whole world being in flames.

Yet as the music sang the words,I’d let the world burn for you.
For you and only you.
I smiled a smile oh so sad.

And gave the male protagonist one last glance.
Last chance to back away.
I smiled and fell in the flames.

To save everyone’s lives beyond the flames.
He yelled in anguish and pain.
Why her,why not me?

And it definately left a stain.
He sang,I’d let the world burn.
As the whole world is in flames,all I wanted was you.

But you sacrificed yourself for this world true.
As as the whole world was swept in dust.
Fire burned everything and metal rust.

My body in the flames.
As I didn’t feel the pains.
The way he looked at me as I fell in the flames.

The music sang once more.
I’d let the world burn for you and only you.
I would be the flame if you let me,too.

And he sang,if I can’t have you,none can.
He sang or even yelled out in pain.
The apocalypse, I couldn’t care as much.

For I did a sacrifice all my own.
For them to go safely home.
The world was all covered in flames.

And the music was getting louder.
And if that apocalypse were real.
I would make sure you are safe under the moonlight.

If I have to,I’ll jump in the flames.
Just so you can call out my name.
Is the apocalypse to blame?

And as you yell out in pain and anguish.
I’ll always watch over you beyond.
Untill the flames slowly dissolve.

And the world burns all for you.
