The Three C’s of StarsRite
Community, Comradery, and Comments
Writing, putting the work in & finally posting so others can read it can be a bit unnerving. One of the goals of StarsRite is to become a community that communicates!
Poetry is subjective to the interpretation of the reader, of course. At the same time, we do want to delve a little deeper. Stories tend to take you places where you’ve never been or tell you things you never knew.
So why not try a different genre than you’re used to & leave a comment? You can certainly ask questions if you don’t understand in which direction the writer is steering their material. I often do & usually, the poet will explain where they came up with the concept, inspiration, etc & how their work came to the page.
Let’s not just fade away & think no one is seeing your effort & talent.
Since this is still a small site, I think we can all take a moment to just pick a person that we’d usually pass by & read, then leave a comment on their work because comments mean a lot & they certainly mean a lot to me.
I want to thank you all for sharing your creativity & time here.
Fia.
