Tell me,do you know where they live?
Do you know what magic they give?
What kind of pain do they relieve?
Do they live in tiny wooden houses?
In the woods afar.
Do they gift poor people new blouses?
Or a brand new car?
Do they live in the woods alone?
Or do they call the ocean their home?
Wait no,nevermind.
The last one was the sirens I find.
Fairies have wings pretty and divine.
And we doubted their existence all this time.
Words clasp,and time collapse.
I wonder if a fairy will come true.
And read this poem over and over too.
Do they live by the ocean blue?
Do they live in houses of wood and glue?
Or do they hide inside trees?
Do they have freedom or pay magic fees?
Tell me what you see.
When I tell you the words beneath me.
Where do fairies live?
Are they hallucinations caused by a fever?
Is it a healthy pain reliever?
Maybe if I met one,I won’t capture it.
I’ll give it a home.
So that it can be peaceful and all on its own.
But if you make a fairy mad.
She forgets all you’ve had.
Her magic is dangerous ahead.
And your wounds might have slowly bled.
Don’t mess with one of their kind.
If you ever manage to find.
Pay close attention to the way they speak.
They way they move so quick.
Tears may leak, but it’ll be okay.
As long as you respect them all the way.
Maybe they live in houses of match boxes.
Avoiding predators and foxes.
For that reason, they may go extinct.
One day,perhaps this week.
If you ever feel weak, they’ll lift you up.
And show you life is not that bad.
They’ll cheer you up when you’re sad.
And you’ll be okay and glad.
Just remember all we’ve had.
So life isn’t bland.
Maybe we are fairies in disguise.
Oh,how fast time flies.
