They say she was a child of face.
Everyone knew her.
And life went on a normal pace.

When she was a child, she had a mother.
A brother,siblings and her father.
Father was how you’d expect him to be.

Except he always drinks and gambles.
The mother was kind and giving.
Yet she ran away from the father in shambles.

As she grew older, she got older and yearned.
For love,a good life to be earned.
She worked for what is right, all day and night.

Just to have food on her plate and be able to fight.
She got older, and so did her height increase.
She never said, can I have some money please?

They say she grew up all alone.
In her quiet,humble home.
Cooking,cleaning.

Earning,beaming.
She did everything herself well.
And her mother disappeared, rang a bell.

When she got older she met a boy.
Who was kind to her and giving – didn’t treat her like a toy.
They used to kiss.

Times that she would miss.
Then he disappeared away.
Years later,he came back.

And she pushed him away.
She met another, soon a warning fell.
He said,be careful!

For that boy hides his emotions well.
And will try and break her outer shell.
Came out it was a predator in disguise.

She just couldn’t see it with her very eyes.
They say,for the prey to survive the predator must die.
She got sent to court, then jail.

Alone again,she starts to cry.
Nobody liked her,she couldn’t deny.
And time begins to really fly.

Eventually she got bailed out, couldn’t trust anyone due to fear.
And the reason was clear – once more she was alone.
Her lover and her brother went to her to fix her heart.

She grew elderly with them.
As I write using a blue pen.
Her death was bittersweet.

He held her close and weep.
