This is chapter 11 in the Series: Poetry of Life, Death & the In-between

What teasing tempting lines they draw

These gauzy winds that half withdraw

Blow lightly to reveal the forms

Of soft smooth hips that dance, perform

with hordes of visions in the sky

baring breasts & waist & thigh

But, look! the images break & cry

As o’er this lone expanse they fly

Each curved cloud wafts in solo dance

Condemned to pleasure by her hands

Alone with none to view the pose & form

Drifting above this desert, lost, wasted, forlorn

Would wondering eyes pause to care

Look up to see brave beauty, bare?

No, those eyes, blind by the lights

of hectic life’s dizzying heights

will not in the silence pause

for curves in clouds & winds of gauze
