Attention Fellow DUP Members!

Announcement:

Stars Rite has a new group for former DUP members. Unsung Underground is the gathering place for Deep Underground souls. This group is for posting those gems near and dear to your heart.

We’ve all written poems over the years that were very important to us and posted them on DUP. Now you can post those poems in the group Unsung Underground as well.

This is a private group available to former DUP members only. You must request to be a member, but ALL former DUP members who posted on DUP will be allowed. Once inside, PLEASE comment and respond. Let’s reconnect. If you were a member and your only contribution to the site was comments, you will not be admitted to the group (if you make it into the group somehow you will be removed).

There will never be another place like the halls of The Underground, a place where many of us found ourselves and where we found each other, but together we can make this place, Stars Rite, our new home. We’re an eclectic band of misfits with various talents and abilities. Luckily, we’ve landed where we belong, a site that’s welcoming and allows up to be ourselves.

Willow, formerly known as WillowsWhimsies and myself, formerly known as Her, will be moderators of the group.

Not everyone is into erotica, so while it is allowed, no porn please. Currently this group is for poems only, not short stories.

At this time you may also post announcements, etc. but as the group grows we may have to form another group for DUP members solely for the purpose of connecting with each other and keep this group for our work only. Let’s see what happens.

As we gather more of the flock to our new gathering place there will be growing pains. Please bear with us! If you have suggestions for the group please don’t hesitate to contact Willow, Sam, Fia or myself.

5/4/25  Update: a forum has been created. This group is now limited to poems only. Please see the update posted today.

5/11/25 Update: I will be stepping down as moderator for this group. Anyone interested in helping Willow moderate please see Sam. I won’t be here as much, I’m stepping back to pursue a career in songwriting.
